ELVI Logistics

Since 2004 ELVI is the only shop chain belonging to local owners having its own centralized logistics system.

In 2004 a single logistics system was introduced. The first partner in logistics by whom goods distribution was started - "Balta Bura" Ltd.

In 2005 after beginning of cooperation with second partner in logistics “Novita” Ltd, ELVI logistics centre begun to deliver +2; +6 temperature range goods and, as a result, obtained new groups of goods and improved delivery quality for shops.

In 2007 “ELVI Group” Ltd. opened its new logistics centre – the only one in Latvia which was created by local shop chain. This logistics centre, which has 4000  square meter area, provides possibility to store wide range of goods and also certain goods requiring temperature range from +2 to +16. The goods ready for deliveries to shops are kept on 150 palettes. More than 3000 good items will be delivered via logistics centre.

ELVI logistics advantages:

•    Delivers goods to all ELVI shops from 70 producers and suppliers in whole Latvia.
•    Provides fast turnover of goods thus providing customers possibility to purchase only fresh products.
•    Shop owners may receive 95% of the ordered goods if the order is made in previous day.
•    Electronic invoices for goods are sent automatically via information exchange system.
•    Making payments via ELVI Group provides more simple payment procedure and decrease costs for bank services.
