“Pārtikas tirdzniecības apvienība" Ltd. is the only company in Latvia providing franchise in groceries retail trade.
In 2000 a decision about development of shop chain according to the franchise principles was taken by attracting successful local retailers.
In 2001 ELVI has provided single procurement system to its partners in addition to single trade mark, shop chain conception and marketing.
In 2002 a single stocktaking system was introduced, which supplemented development of single procurement system.
In 2003 ELVI begins to provide consultation and employee training services to its partners.
In 2004 ELVI  becomes a member of Baltic Franchising Association.
